Vintage Hickok Murano Aventurine Glass Cufflinks Gold Tone Black Swirl 1950s
A pair of 1950s Hickok cufflinks set with Murano aventurine glass in black with a warm copper-flecked swirl, mounted in gold tone. Hickok was an American men's accessories maker based in Rochester, New York, and one of the largest producers of cufflinks and belt buckles through the mid-twentieth century.
Aventurine glass, sometimes called goldstone, is made by suspending fine copper particles in molten glass — a technique long associated with the glassmakers of Murano.
