Shipping Policy
Shipping & Dispatch
All Caviera83 orders are dispatched with full tracking via Australia Post. We take care in packaging every piece — particularly fragile, vintage, and one-of-a-kind items — and we take responsibility for your order until it reaches you safely.
Dispatch Timeframe
Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment being received. You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been sent.
Shipping Protection
We believe our responsibility to your order does not end when it leaves us. All orders are dispatched with full tracking, and additional protection is applied based on the value, nature, and destination of each order:
- Under $300 AUD — Full tracking with up to $100 included carrier compensation.
- $300–$1,000 AUD (domestic) — Full tracking. Australia Post Extra Cover may be applied at our discretion based on item value, rarity, fragility, and destination.
- Over $1,000 AUD (domestic) — Full tracking with Extra Cover applied to the full declared value as standard.
- International orders over $300 AUD — Full tracking with Extra Cover included to the declared value.
If you are purchasing a higher-value item and would like to request additional transit cover, please contact us before dispatch and we will arrange it.
Signature on Delivery
Orders over $500 AUD require a signature at the time of delivery. If no one is available to sign, Australia Post will leave a collection card and hold your parcel at your nearest post office. For higher-value purchases, we recommend using a delivery address where someone will be present, or a post office box.
International Orders
All international orders are sent via Australia Post tracked international services. Extra Cover is included to the declared value for international orders over $300 AUD. Signature on delivery applies for international orders over $500 AUD.
Please note that international customers may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs charges on arrival. These are determined by your country’s customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your country’s import thresholds before purchasing, particularly for orders over $300 AUD.
Packaging
Every order is carefully packed to protect the item in transit. Jewellery is individually wrapped and padded. Fragile items including glass, ceramics, and figurines receive additional protective packaging. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photographs — we will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.
