Is my order protected during shipping?

All Caviera83 orders are dispatched with full tracking via Australia Post, which includes up to $100 in carrier compensation as standard. For international orders over $300 AUD and domestic orders over $1,000 AUD, we apply Australia Post Extra Cover to the declared value of your order. For other domestic orders, Extra Cover may be applied at our discretion based on the value, rarity, and nature of the item. If you would like additional cover arranged for your order, please contact us before dispatch.

Why is a signature required on my order?

For orders over $500 AUD, we require a signature on delivery. This protects both you and us by confirming the parcel was received in person. If delivery is attempted when no one is available, Australia Post will leave a card and hold your parcel at your local post office for collection.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Photograph the outer packaging and the contents immediately on opening, then contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please do not discard the packaging. We will work with you promptly to investigate and resolve the matter with Australia Post.

What happens if my order is lost in transit?

Contact us and we will investigate with Australia Post immediately. All tracked orders have a lodgement record. We will not leave you to manage a lost parcel alone and will work with you to reach a resolution.

Do I need to select or purchase shipping protection at checkout?

No. There are no insurance options to select at checkout. For orders where Extra Cover applies, it is arranged by Caviera83 at the time of dispatch. If you would like additional transit cover for a specific purchase, please contact us before your order is dispatched.

I am ordering from outside Australia — will I pay customs or import duties?

This depends on your country and the value of your order. Most countries have a threshold below which no duty applies — in the United States, for example, orders under approximately $800 USD typically clear without customs charges. For orders above your country’s threshold, import duties or taxes may be applied by your customs authority on arrival. These charges are not collected by Caviera83 at checkout and are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your local import rules before ordering, particularly for higher-value purchases.
