Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Mother of Pearl Long Bar Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of vintage handmade 925 sterling silver and mother of pearl long drop earrings, featuring an elegant elongated rectangular design with natural iridescent shell inlay.

The mother of pearl displays beautiful natural variations of soft cream, silver and pearlescent tones that subtly change as they catch the light. Each elongated panel is framed in a silver-tone setting and suspended from a traditional hook fitting, creating an elegant statement drop.

The earring hooks are clearly stamped 925, indicating sterling silver. Hand-wrapped wire detailing and the individual construction give these earrings a distinctive artisan quality.

Believed to date from approximately the 1980s–1990s. The exact country of manufacture is unknown; the design and construction may be consistent with Mexican artisan jewellery, however no country-of-origin mark has been identified.
